  • November 2012: Phokion Kolaitis has received the ICDT 2013 test-of-time award.
  • July 2012: Tran Quoc Trung receives the IDA Gold Medal and Prize which is awarded annually to the student with the best doctoral thesis.
  • May 2012: Phokion Kolaitis receives the PODS Recognition of Service Award.
  • May 2012: Bogdan Alexe receives the SIGMOD 2012 Jim Gray Doctoral Dissertation Honorable Mention award for his PhD thesis on "Interactive and Modular Design of Schema Mappings" under the supervision of Prof. Wang-Chiew Tan.
  • Best Paper Award: Balder ten Cate and Phokion Kolaitis receive the best-paper award at ICDT'12 for their paper "Learning Schema Mappings" (co-authored with Victor Dalmau).
